IHM Discussion
This is the first time the Black Wings have offered a flight-based fan trip for an away game in Milan. Rather than leaving supporters to organise separate transport, accommodation and match access, the club’s package brings those arrangements together across a single weekend.
The shared flight is the standout element. Supporters will make the journey alongside the team, while the itinerary also leaves time to explore Milan before the return journey after the game. Places are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Why It Matters
Away support is a visible part of European club hockey, particularly when a fixture requires international travel. The Black Wings’ arrangement gives supporters a defined route from Linz to the game, including transport at both ends, accommodation and entry to the away sector.
For the club, it also turns the Milan fixture into a collective weekend around the team rather than only a match-night trip for those able to make their own arrangements.

Coach Mark Comment
The same-flight detail gives this trip its character. Supporters will see the team at the very beginning of an away weekend, not just from the far end of the rink once the puck drops. That is a different connection from an ordinary road game, where players and travelling fans often arrive by completely separate routes.
The package also keeps the practical side tidy: the ticket, transfers, hotel and return journey are already set. For a supporter travelling abroad for one game, that lets the attention stay on Milan and the Black Wings rather than on the logistics around them.

IHM Final View
