Terms & Conditions
IceHockeyMan (“IHM”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website icehockeyman.com (the “Site”) and provides hockey analysis, educational materials, news coverage and premium subscription content (the “Subscription”, together with the Site, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. About us
IceHockeyMan.com is an independent hockey media and education platform offering analytical articles, news updates, and training resources through IHM Academy - an educational section providing in-depth guides, tactics, and insights from professional coaches. The project also publishes hockey news, statistics, and commentary under the ICE HOCKEY EMPIRE brand ecosystem.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Services.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Do not share your login or grant unauthorised access.
4. Subscription, billing & renewals
- When you purchase a Subscription, you authorise us (via our payment processors) to charge your selected payment method.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting support@icehockeyman.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; access remains active until then.
- Prices are shown in EUR unless stated otherwise. We may change prices on renewal with prior notice.
5. Payments
We use trusted third-party processors (e.g., Stripe and, where enabled, PayPal) to handle payments. We do not store full card numbers. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy notices.
6. Refund policy (digital content)
Because the Subscription provides immediate access to digital content, payments are generally non-refundable. By purchasing, you consent to immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that statutory withdrawal rights may not apply once access begins, except where required by applicable law.
If you believe there has been an error (e.g., a duplicate charge), contact us within 7 days at support@icehockeyman.com; we will review in good faith. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting support may result in temporary suspension pending investigation.
7. Fair use & prohibited conduct
- No scraping, bulk downloading, or automated access without prior written permission.
- No redistribution, republication, or resale of premium content, news materials, or Academy resources.
- No unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or abusive behaviour on the Site.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Site (including text, graphics, logos, videos, and learning materials) is owned by IHM or its licensors and protected by international copyright and trademark law. The names IceHockeyMan, IHM Academy, and ICE HOCKEY EMPIRE are proprietary marks of our brand ecosystem. While your Subscription is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view and use the content for your own informational and educational purposes.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance, updates, or events outside our reasonable control may result in temporary downtime.
10. Nature of our content
All materials - including hockey analyses, tactical breakdowns, Academy lessons, and news reports - are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They reflect the editorial opinions and experience of our team and contributors. We do not provide professional, financial, or gambling-related advice, and we do not guarantee any specific outcomes in sports or otherwise.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IHM will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for your Subscription in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the Services. You may terminate at any time by cancelling your Subscription; access will continue until the end of the current paid period.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and apply from the stated effective date.
