IHM Discussion
The fixture brings together two sides carrying strong early form into a venue Johansen identified as a difficult place to visit. Vålerenga’s perfect points record has been built on convincing recent scorelines, while Stjernen’s three victories from four have put them at the top of the table.
Johansen’s message is straightforward: Vålerenga need collective discipline for the full match, rather than relying on their recent momentum alone. His emphasis on starting ready, competing in battles and limiting free opportunities reflects the challenge presented by an energetic Stjernen side.
Why It Matters
For Vålerenga, the match is an immediate test of a start that has left them without a dropped point. For Stjernen, it is a home opportunity against the only side with that record still intact. The meeting also places the league leaders against a Vålerenga team coming off two clear wins.
