Story Summary
Maxim Čajkovič has left Kometa Brno to join Nitra on loan for the remainder of the season. The 25-year-old Slovak forward arrived in Brno from Litvínov before the season but played only six games without registering a point.
Kometa sporting manager Tomáš Vincour said the club sought a destination where Čajkovič could receive more ice time following an injury. The loan runs until the end of the season, while Kometa retain an option on the following season; if it is exercised, Čajkovič will remain under contract with the Czech Extraliga club.

IHM Discussion
This is a move designed to give Čajkovič a clearer opportunity to play. His six-game, scoreless spell in Brno offered little chance to establish momentum after arriving from Litvínov, where he had been a more regular contributor across two seasons.
For Kometa, the arrangement retains a measure of contractual control through the option on next season. Nitra, meanwhile, receive a forward with recent Czech Extraliga experience and a proven record of producing 23 points over 73 games for Litvínov.
Why It Matters
Čajkovič’s move crosses from the Czech Extraliga to Nitra for the rest of the campaign and gives him the chance to seek the playing time Kometa could not currently offer. The loan also allows Brno to monitor his situation without immediately ending their contractual link to the player.
