IHM Discussion
The confirmation moves the Champions Hockey League from its regular-season phase into a defined knockout timetable. The four dates create a two-leg window for each Round of 16 participant, with first meetings followed by return fixtures the next week.
The available information does not identify the match-ups, host clubs, venues or face-off times, so those elements cannot be drawn from the confirmed dates alone.
For the remaining 16 teams, the schedule is the formal marker that the 2026/27 playoff phase is approaching. The Round of 16 will be staged within a compact mid-November period, placing all first-leg and return-leg action across four specified dates.
Why It Matters
The Round of 16 is the first playoff round of the 2026/27 Champions Hockey League campaign. Confirming the dates provides the remaining clubs with a fixed competition window after the regular season and formally sets the start of the knockout stage.
The schedule also confirms that every Round of 16 tie will have First Games and Return Games on consecutive weeks.
