It’s worth noting that Bedard registered his first NHL point, though it didn’t create a sensation. It was his debut game, and all eyes were on him, so it’s not fair to judge him too harshly at this point. Let’s give him some time, and we may discover his true potential.

On the faceoff dot, Connor struggled, winning only two out of thirteen battles (0-5 against Malkin, 1-6 against Crosby). However, such challenges occasionally occur for rookies.
